Happy International Women's Day
There are many things you can do to support women around the world. Buying fair trade is a great place to start. About 60% of Jolica's artisans are women. And we know that when women and girls are educated, given business opportunities and are able to voice themselves, they share their knowledge with their entire community (men and boys don't, they keep it to themselves). You can support various women's programs through organizations like Plan Canada and Samaritan's Purse. Plan Canada has also put together information for Canadians to connect with their MP to say that girl's education should be a priority, no matter where you live.
